Also, stickers facilitate smoother information sharing, while API integration connects LINE WORKS with various IT solutions. Renowned for its usability on both PCs and smartphones, LINE WORKS ensures seamless information sharing and boosts operational efficiency, accelerating your business to new heights.

LINE WORKS offers three AI products: ‘LINE WORKS AiCall’ (AI-based phone answering service), ‘LINE WORKS OCR’ (AI-based OCR service), and ‘LINE WORKS Vision’ (cloud-based video recording service). In addition to utilizing AI in these services, we’re actively engaged in research and development to further leverage AI technology and create additional value.

LINE is a messenger app by LY Corporation. You can exchange messages, have voice or video calls, and more with friends and family for free. The LINE app and the operating company are different from LINE WORKS.

Executive Team

Takeshi Shimaoka

CEO and Representative Director

Takeshi Shimaoka joined IBM Japan in 1995. He worked as a system engineer, project manager, sales representative, consultant, and at IBM China. He was later promoted to Executive Director and became the General Manager of the Western Japan Business Unit and the Kansai Branch.

He became the General Manager of the Western Japan Business Unit at AWS Japan in 2021 and joined LINE WORKS in May 2024.

With extensive experience supporting business strategies and addressing challenges for clients ranging from large corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises across various industries, he specializes in IT utilization and business process improvement.

Ryuichi Masuda

Representative Director, EVP, and Marketing Director

Ryuichi Masuda joined Works Mobile Japan in 2019 after pursuing marketing career at computer manufacturers such as Japan Digital Equipment and Apple Computer Japan (currently referred as Apple Japan GK), as well as Japanese SI companies including sandi, LAC, and iret. As the Director of Marketing, he leads the branding and promotion of LINE WORKS. He has been serving the current position since June 2022.
